THE RETIREMENT CLARITY PROCESS

A structured process for New Zealanders who are retired or approaching retirement and want to know exactly where they stand.

WHO IS THIS FOR

This process is designed for people who:

  • Are aged 50+ and approaching or already in retirement

  • Have $1 million or more in liquid investments

  • Want clarity around whether their retirement plan will work

  • Want to understand if their investment strategy is too conservative

  • Prefer structured advice over guesswork

If that sounds like you, the Retirement Clarity Process will help you understand exactly where you stand.

HOW THE PROCESS WORKS

Retirement Clarity Process will help you understand exactly where you stand.

We begin with a short phone call to determine whether your situation is a good fit for what we do.

We work with New Zealanders aged 50+ who have built up $1M+ in liquid assets and want structured retirement advice.

If it’s a fit, we move forward.

If not, we’ll point you toward someone better suited to help.

No sales pitch. Just a conversation.

This meeting allows us to understand your goals, concerns, and current financial situation.

We discuss:

  • What retirement actually looks like for you

  • Your current investments and KiwiSaver

  • Your income sources and expected retirement income

  • Your lifestyle and spending expectations

This meeting typically runs 60–90 minutes and can be held in person or via video.

Once we understand your situation, we analyse your plan and investment structure.

We answer four key questions:

  • Are you on track to fund the retirement you want?

  • Is your investment strategy too conservative?

  • Could your portfolio be improved?

  • Are there risks or blind spots in your current plan?

You receive a Retirement Clarity Report explaining where you stand and what we recommend.

In this meeting we walk you through our analysis in plain English.

You’ll see:

  • Your current retirement trajectory

  • What changes could mean for your future income

  • How your strategy could be improved

At the end of the meeting, you decide whether you’d like to move forward.

No pressure.

Before becoming a client, consider four simple questions:

  • Do I trust the adviser?

  • Do the recommendations make sense?

  • Do I agree with the investment philosophy?

  • Will the value exceed the cost?

If the answer is yes - great.
If not, that’s perfectly fine.

If you decide to move forward, we complete the paperwork and begin implementing the plan.

Our goal is to make the transition simple, structured, and stress-free.
